The Picasso exhibition and the museum has more than 200 works including prints, paintings and photography to reflect how museums, and masterpieces in them, were an important source of inspiration for the production of Pablo Picasso.

The tour of the exhibition, allows to know how the work of the great masters of art history museums that house was an important source of inspiration throughout his career.

Since Pablo Picasso first visited the Prado museum with 13, and beheld Zurbaran, El Greco, Velazquez and Goya, he kept all his life contemplating the works in museums as a learning and artistic reinterpretation.

The snapshot of Picasso and the museum has a space for innovation under the title In the artist’s mind, an interactive installation of motion recognition developed by the ESAT, College of Arts and Technology. This space allows visitors to actively participate in the showroom and create their own compositions with works by the artist, who can then share on social networks.
